Grafton Media’s Midweek Medley – 18 July 2012

Midweek medley

It’s midweek and that time again so is the Midweek Medley.

Heros, high school and hijinks; here are some of the videos we’ve been watching here in Grafton Media this week.

Neighbour saves seven-year-old girl who fell from third floor window

If there ever was a time and a place for this neighbour to be it was definitely below the window before tragedy struck. This video is of a seven-year-old girl that appears to have been playing outside her window of a third floor apartment and lost her step. It could have been such a terrible accident if it wasn’t for the neighbour being at the right place at the right time.

Lynx (AXE in some countries) is known for their over the top adverts of Angels falling for men, Premature Perspiration and Urban Chaos but their latest one is still very well done but takes a very different tone. It goes beyond the “if I use it, they will come” mantra and talks of giving the wearer confidence to talk to the girl that is “the one”. It is also beautifully narrated by Kiefer Sutherland

Escape The Madness

Discover Ireland have come out with a very good (if not biased) video aimed at Londoners looking to literally Escape The Madness of London for the calm and relaxed country of Ireland. It’s reminiscent of Top Gear race challenges with two individuals trying to beat each other to a goal to prove a point. It’s the stressed out office guy pitted against the laid back creative type so see which is quicker, crossing London to get a coffee and enjoy it at work or fly to Ireland and have a relaxing pint of the black stuff. I won’t ruin the result so you’ll just have to watch.

What have been your videos of the week?
