European Search Trends

European Search Trends

European Search Trends provides a window into the cultural zeitgeist through the aggregation of millions of search queries. The study uses a number of search tools to measure percentage spikes in searches, not overall search volume. This allows less known search terms to figure in the results, if an event prompted a sudden surge in interest.

Trends were released on euronews this morning and covers the 27 EU countries + Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.
